"Rancinan is a photographer"...

...that's the title of the website of the French photographer Gérard Rancinan.

I discovered the works of this man several years ago, reading articles about his pictures of Loris Capirossi and Troy Bayliss, the two riders of the Ducati D16 at the time (2004 ?). The collection of pictures was entitled : "Speed Art".

You can learn more about who he is here : http://www.rancinan.com/
I really liked what he did when picturing Damon Hill, Valentino Rossi, and Raymond Roche.
I recommend you to check his website and do some researches on the web and have a look on his portfolio.

Oh and important thing to know : if I remember well he owns a Ducati 888sp... definitely a man of taste...

Sound of the day

This morning, on my way to my daily dose of education, I was woken up by "Columbia".
That's a catchy track from Oasis, and more precisely, from the live DVD "Live by the sea".
I can't get bored of the guitar riff, 3 basic chords, strummed on Bonehead's Epiphone. Simple solo parts but very efficient. Lazy singing.
No, really catchy tune.
